What would you do if you suddenly won millions of dollars? This what happens to Kate Bishop, a struggling, divorced mother of four teenagers who barely has enough to pay her bills, let alone meet emergencies. She has no idea how she will ever manage college costs. And in addition to the ongoing worry over finances, Kate has no life other than as a mother. She hasn't had a date in years, and a vacation? That's laughable. How can she afford to go anywhere? Winning the lottery turns Kate's life upside down. Suddenly she's a woman in demand, a woman who can do whatever she wants. Even her romantic life heats up. But not all these changes are wonderful, because there's a hidden (and dark) cost to her sudden wealth. WISH COME TRUE is the addictive story of one woman's journey of growth and the lessons she learns along the way.

Wish Come True eBook Patricia Kay
The premise of this book is great. Singe mom of 4 struggling to make ends meet and catastrophic event happens and the next day wins the lottery for millions. Then comes the crazies and the greedy relatives. Now, she started off smart getting financial advisors and attorneys and denying most money requests. Here is my issue: she has NO backbone!!! She keeps ex husband's beer in her fridge, she feels guilty for not giving him money?? Seriously? Everyone guilts her, then her attorney asks for a date and she questions it. Yeah, dummy, he wants the money too. Small town=he knew you before without interest. Then the kids start acting up and expecting the moon then once that's figured out, she meets another guy, tells him about her winnings and he says oh I had millions too and gave most of it away...and she does the same. The end. That's it??!!! I kept waiting for her self revelations of her relationships and how she's a doormat for everyone. I have not written a review good or bad in a long time, but this one was so disappointing I had to say something. The one positive: it was freeProduct details

Wish Come True eBook Patricia Kay Reviews
Too many people having sex. Especially the teenagers. I know it is probably true to real life, but I think the story would have been better without it. I did enjoy the story, and cared about the characters. I would love to know what happens next for them.
This was an good book. But I didn't like the ending. It, should had what happen in a year are two.
Wish Come True by Patricia Kay.
I give this book 3 stars. This is the first time I've read a book by this author. It was sweet. The storyline was very good. All the twists and turns were dramatic and though of well. I liked how all of the family members had their own path in the story. I didn't like all the spelling errors and missed words. There are a lot of sections in the book with a bunch of random letters bunched together. Someone needs to edit this book again.
The author creates a real family with real problems and who all of a sudden can have everything they have ever wanted. Except, this new turn of events doesn't solve all their problems-it creates more. Each member of the family has something to contribute to the story, and the author pleasantly does not spell everything out for each character in the end, but does leave their future looking bright.
This was a wonderful book! I didn't put it down from the very first page. Being a single Mom myself, after a difficult divorce, I always dreamed of a lottery,,,,so it was a hoot to see this struggling Mom get some help, even if it did get complicated.
I love how she resolved it,,,,but wish there was a whole series after this first one,,,I want to continue this great adventure!
I highly recommend this book with one caveat if you like the story to have a definite ending, this one will not satisfy you. I enjoyed the premise of this story very much. It was fiction with a possibility of reality to it. The author is talented and wrote in a style that I did like a lot also. I was looking forward to the end of the story....however, and this is my only complaint about this book, there was no end. The last chapter abruptly ended leaving the reader hanging without knowing what happened to the characters. Maybe there's a follow-up book coming; I don't know. I am not a fan of the new way of writing, beginning a story in one book and leaving the ending to come after several more books in a SERIES. Whatever happened to writing a book and the whole story is complete between the two covers.
The best things in life are free
What would you do if you won the lottery? For Kate, it’s a wish come true.
Struggling with bills and financial woes while raising four teenagers and contending with a bitter ex-husband, Kate was barely holding it together. Until she discovers that she won the jackpot lottery. Of course, she couldn’t have been more excited. She now had to freedom to buy whatever she wanted. No more having to worry about money EVER.
But, soon, Kate learns the dark side of the lottery like greedy relatives, reporters, and money-hungry investors. I was shocked to hear how her family reacted, as if Kate owed them more money. I mean, she was nice enough to give them each their own car, but, soon, they started asking for more stuff, like a Euro trip, a new house, a new business. Heck, even the reverend was a greedy bastard, wanting $3 million dollars to build a new church. WTF!?
That was the problem with Kate making so many promises to so many people. At this rate, she was going to lose the money faster than she could blink. What I would’ve done is, after securing a nest egg for me and the kids, I would’ve given everyone else an equal share that they could’ve spent however they pleased. If they blew through it, then that’s their problem.
This story was relatable and easy to get into. I liked that the reader engaged in each of the characters as they battled to adjust to the money and all the attention. This goes on the concept that people were never satisfied and always wants more.
A real story that beckons the question What would you do?
